Also at Railsconf I ran into Andrew Nesbit, who had beef with most of the existing A/B testing libraries out there. Firstly that you can only use them with rails, and secondly that most of them are difficult to extend and use in different ways. So, he decided to roll his own at Bohconf called Split.
