Why Rails 4 Live Streaming is a big deal

This week Hongli Lai of the Phusion team put together his thoughts on rails new live streaming feature, which is scheduled to be released in Rails 4. He basically shows how with the proper support Rails could compete with Node applications for many use cases. He covers the pros and cons of multi-process, vs multi-threaded, vs evented. And gives some insight into how and when Passenger may fully-support this functionality.
