Ruby Prowl

If you use OS X, you probably already use Growl. But there's also a commercial library out there called Prowl, which sends Growl-like notifications directly to your iPhone. And recently, August Lilleaas even wrote a Ruby gem for it. So, if notices are your thing, you can now have your app ping you wherever you go.
