Crisis Camp Haiti

Crisis Camp Haiti is a multi-weekend, multi-city effort to bring information technology skills to bear on aiding the on-the-ground situation in Haiti. Already the project has produced PeopleFinder, a tool for sharing information about missing and located people, the Haves/Needs tool, for coordinating the limited resources available in-country, RSS feed aggregation of news coming out of the country, and several others. The goal is to create tools that not only help now, but can be reused to aid situational awareness for the next natural disaster.
