Crashing the JavaOne Party with JRuby

Speaking of conferences, the plans for JavaOne reborn under the stewardship of Oracle are becoming clear. The call for proposals is open, and this week Charles Nutter encouraged the ruby community to submit JRuby proposals. The JVM is a rock solid, performant virtual machine, and with the number of innovative languages flourishing, this could be the year of the JVM language renaissance.
